Single Sign-On is an authorization flow that enables users to authenticate using a combination of enterprise credentials and other factors that the enterprise has chosen, such as multi-factor authentication. You can configure Avaya Aura® Device Services to support SSO, so that your enterprise users can log in to services, such as Avaya Workspaces, Avaya Workplace Client, Avaya Meeting Scheduler Outlook Add-in, Avaya Meetings Server Unified Portal, Avaya Agent for Desktop, or Avaya Calling for Microsoft Teams, using their enterprise credentials.
Each SSO protocol Avaya Aura® Device Services supports, that is SAML v2.0 and OAuth2 SSO, Device Authorization Flow, and Workspaces SSO, have different set of prerequisites to fulfill. Read the prerequisites corresponding to the SSO flow you are implementing before configuring Avaya Aura® Device Services.
Important:
You can only enable OAuth when you are installing or upgrading Avaya Aura® Device Services. You cannot enable OAuth at a later point.
