SSH encryption overview

In Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity, the connection between Configuration Server and Routing Core Server instances is secured with an SSH protocol. To establish an SSH connection between the contact center servers during deployment, you must generate the SSH encryption keys on the Configuration Server. For more information about establishing the initial SSH connection, see the Routing Core installation section in Deploying Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.

To secure the connection between the contact center servers, you must regularly update the SSH keys. You can enable automatic SSH key replacement and set up a key replacement period. After the configured period, the contact center generates new SSH keys and copies a public key to all contact center servers.
