Upgrading contact center servers

Last Updated : Apr 28, 2023 |

About this task

Use the Configuration Server web portal to upgrade Routing Core Server instances to the latest version.

With the rolling upgrade, you upgrade alternative servers and then trigger a failover from the active Routing Core Server to an upgraded alternative server. When the active Routing Core Server becomes alternative, you upgrade it to the same version as the other server and trigger a failover again. To avoid service interruption, upgrade servers only in the alternative state. During the upgrade, the contact center continues to operate, and all calls remain active.

Before you begin

  • Log in to the Configuration Server as a system administrator.

  • Copy the installation archive with updates to the active Configuration Server, untar it, and update the configuration files.
