About this task

A Linux-based server can be configured to serve as the trap collector and provide external alarm notification.

Procedure

Perform one of the following tasks:

  • Call INADS of the Avaya technical service center.

  • Send an e-mail to specified destinations.

  • Send an SNMP trap to a specified network management address.
