Alarm text

LSP: <ip-address> event-string

Example:

  • LSP: 10.133.47.54 upgrade-required

  • LSP: 10.133.47.54 upgrade-required but unregistered

Description

Filesync Alarm for software version mismatch between LSP and Main uses Event IDs in the range of 4000 - 4999, where each Event ID is associated with a Survivable Processor (MID). The source of these alarms is always FSY.

The event string can be one of the following:

  • upgrade-required — The alarm is generated because of a software version mismatch between LSP and Main server.

  • upgrade-required but unregistered — The alarm has been cleared but the LSP is unregistered.

The <ip-address> is the IP of survivable Processor that is used to configure on Communication Manager Main server.

Proposed Solution

Upgrade the Survivable Remote Servers (LSP) to the same or a higher software version than your core Communication Manager.
