The status station and status attendant forms display the current download status of individual 84xx, 603 and 301B1 terminals in the Download Status field. The possible download states are:

Terminal successfully downloaded sometime in the past. |
Pending |
System waiting to download the terminal. This may require the execution of a background periodic test which could take more than an hour. A demand download as previously described may also be used to initiate an immediate download. |
Not applicable |
Not a programmable terminal. |
Possible reasons for a terminal not being downloaded include:
Terminal is off-hook.
Terminal detected a bad checksum.
Terminal detected a bad or missing EEPROM. Refer to error log.
Terminal is busy programming data from a previous program message.
Terminal is in the programming disabled state.
Terminal is in the local program options mode.
Terminal is disconnected or out-of-service. Use status station.
