Add a glossary definition in the glossary section of your book for acronyms or terms that the reader might not understand. If you need a glossary entry for an acronym that is not commonly understood, put only the acronym in the glossary title and then spell it out in the definition.
Exception for units of measure, units of time, and standard industry abbreviations
Do not define standard units of measure or units of time in the glossary. Do not define acronyms that are standard within the telecommunications industry or the computer industry. For example, CPU or LED.
