For example, when describing a job type, you can use sales representative instead of salesman. Some job titles use the masculine form as a gender-neutral form. For example, actor can be used to describe male and female actors.
Use the second person (you) to address your audience directly. If you need to use third person, do not write he or she. To avoid repetition, use they as a gender-neutral term.
