In task topic titles, use the gerund form of the verb instead of the infinitive or simple form. The gerund form of the verb is the -ing form.

The -ing form of a word can be a verb, an adjective, or a noun. To avoid ambiguity in headings, include all words that you need to clarify the part of speech that the -ing form represents. In the discouraged examples below, the -ing form can be either an adjective or a verb.
