You can add up to two index levels in each topic. Ensure that your index terms start with a lowercase letter unless you are referring to a name. When adding index terms, think about what key words people might search for. Do not simply repeat the topic title in the index term.

Even though indexes seem outdated, they are still important. Indexing affects search, so even if people are not looking at the index directly, the index terms you add play a role in ensuring that people can find the content they need.
