Ensure that you have administrative access with Security Admin role permissions to the System Manager web console. This role enables you to update the passphrase key without knowing the existing key.
Log in to the System Manager web console.
Navigate to ElementsCluster Administration.
In the Service URL column of the desired cluster, click Presence Services Admin.

The system displays the Avaya Aura® Presence Services login page in a new tab.
Log in using the same credentials that you use to log in to the System Manager web console.
Click Message Security.
Enter a new passphrase in the Update Passphrase field.

Important:
Ensure that you remember the passphrase. If you forget the passphrase, you cannot recover it from the system. You can however reset it.
