This procedure is required if the Presence Services certificate contains a subject alternative name (SAN) of the OtherName type and with an XMPPaddr identifier.
On the Openfire server, navigate to Server Server Manager System Properties Add new property.
In the Property Name field, add xmpp.server.certificate.verify.
In the Property Value field, add true.
Click Save Property.
Verify that the xmpp.server.certificate.verify entry appears in the list as true.
In the Property Name field, add xmpp.server.certificate.verify.chain,
In the Property Value field, add true.
Click Save Property.
Verify that the xmpp.server.certificate.verify.chain entry appears in the list as true.
