Configuring Media Interfaces

Prolog information
  1. Log in to the Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise server as an administrator.
  2. Create an internal media interface.
    1. Click Network & FlowsMedia Interface.
    2. Click Add.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      The Edit Media Interface dialog box displays.
    3. In the Name field, enter a name for the internal media interface.
    4. In the IP Address field, select internal (A1, VLAN 0).
    5. Select an internal IP address.
    6. In the Port Range field, verify that the default port range is acceptable.
    7. Click Finish.

  3. Create an external media interface.
    1. Click Network & FlowsMedia Interface.
    2. Click Add.

      The Edit Media Interface dialog box displays.
    3. In the Name field, enter a name for the external media interface.
    4. In the IP Address field, select external (B1, VLAN 0).
    5. Select an external IP address.
    6. In the Port Range field, verify that the default port range is acceptable.
    7. Click Finish.
