Creating Provisioning Cluster

Prolog information
  1. On the System Manager web console, click ElementsAvaya Breeze®Cluster Administration.
  2. On the Cluster Administration page, click New.
  3. On the Cluster Editor page, select the General tab.
  4. In the Basic section, perform the following steps:
    1. In the Cluster Profile field, select Customer Engagement.
    2. In the Cluster Name field, enter a unique cluster name.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      The name must be a string of Alphanumeric characters. For example, ProvisioningCluster.
    3. In the Cluster Group field, select a cluster group.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      Important:
      Select the same cluster group for all clusters of Avaya Oceana® and ensure that you do not use the selected cluster group for any non-Avaya Oceana® cluster.
    4. Leave the Cluster IP field blank.
    5. Leave the Cluster Fully Qualified Domain Name field blank.
    6. In the Description field, enter a description for the cluster.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Note:
    Provisioning Cluster does not require any Avaya Breeze® platform node. Therefore, you must skip the Servers tab.
  5. On the Cluster Editor page, select the Services tab.
    STEP RESULT:
    The system automatically adds the CallEventControl and EventingConnector SVARs to the Assigned Services list.
  6. In the Available Services list, click the plus sign (+) on the OceanaConfiguration SVAR to add the SVAR to Provisioning Cluster.
  7. Click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    The system prompts you to ensure that you restart all Avaya Breeze® platform nodes before placing the cluster into the Accept New Service state.
  8. Click OK.
