The following table describes POP3 settings for incoming emails that display when you select POP3 in the Incoming Protocol list.

Server Host |
The mail server or IP address where the account exists. For example, pop3.myemailserver.com. |
Server Port |
The port number for the mail server.
If you use an encrypted security protocol, the default POP3 port number is 995.
If you use an unencrypted security protocol, the default POP3 port number is 110.

TLS Type |
The security protocol to use for receiving emails. For example, you can select NONE.
Note:
For TLS, Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud only supports standard CA certificates, not self-signed certificates.

Authentication Type |
The authentication method to use for connecting to the mail server. For example, you can select LOGIN. |
Account Folder |
The mailbox folder that Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud pulls incoming emails from to route to agents. For example, you can type Inbox. |
Timeout (Secs) |
The maximum amount of time in seconds during which the contact center attempts to retrieve an email. The maximum value is 120 seconds. |
Delete Email From Server |
Enable this setting to delete all incoming emails from the mail server after the interaction is complete. |
