Configuring messaging routing

About this task

As an account administrator, you can configure the following:

  • How Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud routes messaging interactions for contact center customers to experience the best service.

  • The attributes that apply to all messaging interactions for a messaging account.

  • The routing rules associated with messaging interactions.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Channels > Messaging.
  2. From the Interaction Type list, select the type of messaging application.
  3. For the account to configure routing settings, click the Three Dots icon and do one of the following:
    • Click Configure routing settings to configure Avaya client applications.

    • Click Configure to configure Avaya Social Connections messaging.

  4. On the Routing Configuration Settings page, fill in the relevant fields.
  5. Click Save.
