Editing WhatsApp templates

About this task

In Application Center Administration, account administrators can assign a WhatsApp template to agent queues. Agents can use these templates in their WhatsApp interactions with customers.

When you use the Edit option of a template, you can only assign a WhatsApp template to a queue. To edit other components of the template, you require Meta credentials to access the WhatsApp Business Manager platform on Meta. By default, the templates are automatically synchronized 24 hours after you create them on the Meta portal. To synchronize them immediately, you can use the Synchronize Templates option. Additionally, you can view the appearance and layout of the selected template in the Preview pane.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator or a supervisor.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Templates > WhatsApp Templates.
  2. On the WhatsApp Templates page, click the Edit icon for the corresponding template.
  3. In the Associate Template with Queue field, select one or more queues to which to associate the template.
  4. Click Save.
