Voice channel trunks

上次更新时间 : Nov 12, 2024 |

Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports multiple BYOC+H trunk groups for each tenant to provide large enterprises with multiple contact center sites in different locations. Trunk groups apply to the voice channel. Each trunk group comes with different domain settings and preferred media location sharing. As an account administrator, you can create routing rules to define the trunks and apply caller IDs to outgoing calls. You can also view the trunks that your system administrator configures.

The following trunk options are available for each tenant:

  • Up to 20 BYOC+H trunk groups

  • One BYOC+S trunk group

  • One Avaya SIP trunking group

Routing based on agent location

Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports outgoing call routing based on agent locations. Depending on the routing rules or dialing restrictions you configure for specific agent profiles, agents with these profiles can make outgoing calls to customers through specific BYOC+H trunks.

For example, you can configure the agent location for UK-based agents or agent profiles as UK-United Kingdom. Hence, all UK-based agents can use the BYOC+H trunk in the United Kingdom to make outgoing calls.

You can set dialing restrictions on such agent profiles to restrict agents to specific outbound calling rules. For example, if you set dialing restrictions for UK-based agent profiles, all agents with this agent profile can make outgoing calls only to UK-based numbers.
