Cause

The POM Kafka Service does not run. The following are the possible causes:

  • The POM Campaign Director does not connect to the POM Kafka service.

  • The POM Kafka Monitor service, which monitors the POM Kafka Service, does not connect to the POM Zookeeper Service.

  • The POM Kafka or POM Zookeeper service does not start.

Solution

  • To verify whether the process starts, read the status text of the service.

    If the status of the configured Kafka and the Zookeeper processes is inactive, restart the POM Kafka service.

  • Verify the configuration of the POM Kafka service on your POM system.

    If the configuration is incorrect, follow the instructions in the POM Installation guide to reconfigure the POM service.
