Creating email disclaimers

About this task

Create email disclaimers to handle email interactions. Email disclaimers make recipients aware of confidentially, copyright laws, or other corporate disclaimer information for the organization. You can define multiple disclaimers and publish a disclaimer at a time. A published disclaimer attaches to the bottom of an outgoing email.

Before you begin

Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator or a supervisor.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Templates > Email Template.
  2. On the Email Templates page, click New > Disclaimer.
  3. On the New Disclaimer Template page, in the Name field, type a name for the email disclaimer.
  4. In the Description field, type a description for the email disclaimer.
  5. In the Body field, type the text to appear in the email disclaimer.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Save and Publish
