Account administrators can configure WhatsApp business accounts with Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud so that customers can use WhatsApp to interact with contact center agents. Agents can use predefined templates in their WhatsApp interactions.

To create a WhatsApp social account, you must have a valid Facebook profile and a Meta business account. Use the Meta Embedded Signup process integrated with Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud to create your WhatsApp social media account.

You can reauthenticate a registered WhatsApp social account. Reauthenticating a registered account updates the phone number status.
