Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports the following types of messaging applications:
Custom Messaging: This refers to the capability of Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud, which enables customers to build their messaging connector using messaging APIs. Customers can use the connectors to integrate with third-party messaging providers.
Social Messaging: This refers to messages that originate outside Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud on social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp. If social messaging is activated on your account, you can view integration under Social Messaging.
Note:
For social messaging integrations, you must subscribe to Avaya Social Connections.
Omni SDK Messaging: This refers to messages that originate outside Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud on customer applications. You can use Omni SDK to configure messaging services for Android, iOS, and Web applications. You can also configure push notification services on customer applications using Omni SDK.
