Configure a profile to enable features such as hybrid voice, advanced hybrid voice, chat, messaging, and email for your Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) account.
You can also assign a location profile. The location profile maps to the user assigned to the profile so that all incoming calls get routed through the configured location.
Before you begin
Ensure that you configure an account with the Hybrid Voice feature enabled.
Optionally, to use the advanced hybrid voice features, configure the account with the Advanced Hybrid Voice feature enabled.
Ensure to log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.
Procedure
In the navigation tree, click User Management > Profiles.
On the Profiles page, click Create Profile.
In the Name field, type a name for the profile.
In the Description field, type a description for the profile.
From the Workspaces UX Profile list, select a UX profile.
Important:
For the selected Workspaces UX Profile, ensure that you configure the following under the General tab:
Set the Start Work Options option to Contact Center Default.
Enable VDI Enabled to support the Citrix VDI environment.
Enable Simultaneous Ready for AXP Connect agents to enable agents to be available simultaneously on both hybrid voice and digital.

In the Membership section, click Agent from the Roles list and select the group name from the Member Of list.
Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) supports only the Agent role. Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud supports all the available roles.
In the Features section, toggle the features switch you want to configure and populate the fields.
Important:
Enabling the Advanced Hybrid Voice switch automatically enables the Hybrid Voice switch and you cannot disable the Hybrid Voice switch. If you do not want to use the advanced hybrid voice features, you must disable the Advanced Hybrid Voice switch and enable the Hybrid Voice switch.
From the Location Profile field, select a location profile.
To automatically assign an extension, select the Auto Assign Extension check box.
