UX profiles enable you to assign layouts to user profiles. First, you must assign a layout to a UX profile. Then, you can assign the UX profile to a user profile. To assign a UX profile to a user profile, select the UX profile in the Workspaces UX Profile list on the user profile configuration page. Application Center Administration applies the UX profile configuration to all users with this user profile.
When you create a user profile, Application Center Administration creates a UX group internally for the user profile with the same name and adds "Ux Group" to the name. For example, if the name of your user profile is "My User Profile", the name of the corresponding UX group is "My User Profile Ux Group".
You can apply the UX profile configuration to a user profile. You must assign the UX profile to the user profile on the UX profile configuration page. You must assign the UX profile to the user profile and deselect the corresponding UX group on the UX profile configuration page. Application Center Administration applies the UX profile configuration to all users with this user profile and assigns the default layout to them.
Although you can assign several users to a single profile, ensure that you do not exceed 2,000 users. When you exceed this limit, users cannot successfully complete certain tasks in Avaya Workspaces. For example, when users log in to Avaya Workspaces and use the Settings option, they cannot view the UX profile to which they are assigned. Additionally, such users cannot download logs because the option is disabled.
With UX profiles, you can configure the standard settings, such as the UI language and the number of interaction cards that agents can see simultaneously in Avaya Workspaces. You can also specify the welcome page URL that agents see after logging in to Avaya Workspaces. You can customize a widget to enable or disable emojis, attachments, location requests, and audio/video recording.
Application Center Administration provides a scan UX profile option to detect possible Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) problems. The scan checks all the widgets associated with the profile and its layouts. The result of the scan lists custom widgets that have potential issues in the CSS and related details.
The UX profiles enables the customization of how often email drafts are automatically saved. The default auto save time for emails is 30 seconds, and you can select a time value of up to 30 minutes. Using the auto saving function prevents the risk of data loss during browser refreshes or network disruptions.
