Use the Alias Station screen to:

• Administer new telephone types that are not supported by the system.

• Map new telephone types to a telephone type that supports Alias Station.

• Assign names to telephone types.

To change the value of the fields on the Alias Station screen, use the following command:

change alias station

Alias Set Type

Use this field to assign a name to the nonsupported telephone type. You can enter up to five alphanumeric characters.

Supported Set Type

Use this field to enter a supported telephone type. For example, DCP, H.323, SIP, or analog telephone types.
