Precedence Routing Digit Analysis Table

Last Updated : Oct 29, 2012 |

Communication Manager compares dialed numbers with the dialed strings in this table and determines the route pattern of an outgoing Multiple Level Precedence and Preemption (MLPP) call.

Example command: change precedence-routing analysis n, where n is the precedence-routing digit analysis table number.

Destination Code Control

Note:

This field complies with the Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR) 2008 Change 3 requirements and is approved by Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). This field is available only for the USA Department of Defense (DoD) and approved Federal government customers.

Use Destination Code Control (DCC) to restrict outbound calls to a specific called number or a range of numbers to keep the trunk free for important calls.

DCC limits outbound calls from the outgoing budget (IPBo).

To enable the DCC feature you must first activate DCC by using FAC in COS.

Valid entry

Usage

y

DCC is activated.

n

DCC is not activated. The default value is n.

Dialed String

Communication Manager matches the dialed numbers with the entry in the Dialed String field that most closely matches the dialed number. You can enter up to 18 digits that the call-processing server analyzes. You can also enter the wildcard characters, x and X.

Max

Use this field to specify the maximum number of user-dialed digits that the system must collect to match the dialed string.

Min

Use this field to specify the minimum number of user-dialed digits that the system must collect to match the dialed string.

Percent Full

This field displays the percentage of system memory resources used for the AAR and the ARS digit analysis. For more information about the system memory resources, see Avaya Aura® Communication Manager System Capacities Table.

Percentage IPBO Blocked

Note:

This field complies with the Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR) 2008 Change 3 requirements and is approved by Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). This field is available only for the USA Department of Defense (DoD) and approved Federal government customers.

With Percentage IPBO Blocked, Communication Manager supports blocking a percentage of calls to a destination for the DCC feature. You can enter a value from 1% to 100%. The default value is 100%.

Preempt Method

The preemption method used by the server running Communication Manager for this dialed string.

Valid Entry

Usage

group

The system checks the first trunk group in the route pattern to determine if any trunks are idle. If the system finds an idle trunk, the system connects the call. This is the default.

route

The system checks each trunk group in the route pattern to determine if any trunks are idle. If the system finds an idle trunk, the call is connected.
