Use this field to administer custom labels on the 2420 and 4620 telephones. The system can display the labels in one of the following languages:
english
french
italian
spanish
Note:
Unicode is not a valid language.
If you change the language, the system saves all administered labels in the new language and displays the labels in the new language.
To translate the labels to a different language, type user-defined in the Label Language field. You can use Avaya Message Editing Tool (AMET) to assign translations to the labels. For more information about AMET, see Job Aid: Telephone Message Translations.
