This is the main configuration file for the User Management service. It controls:

  • Primary LDAP interface settings

  • Distributor settings

  • Logging settings

  • Supported attributes and their types

  • The definition of “protected” users (from deletion during synchronizations)

  • Security

  • Advertising of internal user roles (for the AE Services Management Console)

For changes to this file to take effect, the User Management must be re-initialized. See Re-initializing service configuration files.
