Viewing the Kerberos 5 RPM packages installed on the AE Services server

About this task

The pam_krb5 and krb5-workstation packages are critical for Kerberos. The pam_krb5 package manages Kerberos 5 password for applications which use PAM. The krb5-workstation package contains basic Kerberos programs. Сheck if the pam_krb5 and krb5-workstation packages are installed on the AE Services server.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the AE Services command line interface as a root user.
  2. In the command prompt, run the following command: rpm -qa | grep krb.

    If the Kerberos 5 RPM packages are installed, you will see an output similar to the following:

    krb5-devel-1.6.1-70.el5_9.2
pam_krb5-2.2.14-22.el5
krb5-libs-1.6.1-70.el5_9.2
krb5-workstation-1.6.1-70.el5_9.2
  3. Download and install any missing Kerberos 5 RPM packages.
