Administering a CTI Link for Kafka

About this task

Perform the steps of this procedure from a Communication Manager system access terminal (SAT) to administer a CTI link for Kafka. This type of CTI link is mandatory for a Kafka integration.

Note:

The Kafka integration feature is reserved for future use.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Communication Manager SAT interface.
  2. In the command prompt, type add cti-link n, where n is the <cti-link number>.

    Communication Manager displays the CTI link page.

  3. Complete the CTI link form as follows:
    1. In the Extension field, type the extension number of the station.
    2. In the Type field, type ADJ-IP.
    3. In the Name field, type the name of the AE Services server.
    4. In the AES Host field, type the name of the AES using the hostname. The AES host field supports a maximum of 15 characters.
