Synchronizing distributors

About this task

Run a distributor on an on-demand basis to synchronize the user data. Use distributor synchronization in the following cases:

  • AE Services recovery after a User Management database failure or a maintenance shutdown

  • AE Services recovery after a client application failure or a maintenance shutdown

  • After adding a new client application that uses the User Management database

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to User Management > Service Admin > Manage Distributors.
  2. On the Distributor List page, select the distributor.
  3. Click Synchronize.
  4. Optional To view the synchronization result, refresh the Distributor List page.

    AE Services displays the synchronization start and end time.
