Scheduling data collection

About this task

Use this procedure to configure HMDC to collect specific data. See HMDC data for a description of the metric data HMDC can collect.

From the AE Services Management Console main menu, select Utilities > HMDC > Configuration.
From the field at the top of the Historical Metric Data Collection Configuration page, select the metric group data you want to collect.
Click Schedule.

Note:
By default, the schedule for any metric group is enabled with the Sampling Interval and Cleanup Interval as Hourly and Weekly.
On the Add/Edit Metric Group page, perform the followings steps:
1. In the Configurable Metrics area, select the check box of the metric data you want to collect. By default, all of the check boxes are selected. See HMDC data for a description of the metric data HMDC can collect.
2. From the Sampling Interval field, select the time interval at which you want to collect the data sample.
  The available options to schedule the sampling time interval are:
  - Minutes: The number of minutes can be between 10 to 59
  - Hourly
  - Weekly
  - Monthly
3. In the Cleanup Interval area, select the time interval after which you want the data deleted.
  The available options to schedule the cleanup interval are:
  - 1 Day
  - 1 Week
  - 1 Month
  - 1 Year
4. Click Apply Changes.
5. On the Edit HMDC metric group page, click Apply.
