Configuring the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway element

About this task

To enable Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway integration for your Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) account, configure the details of Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway that you have on-premise in Application Center Administration. You can configure Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway for each cluster. You must configure a minimum of one Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that you configure the following:

    • An account with the Hybrid Voice feature enabled.

    • The existing System Manager element for the account.

    • Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway that is deployed on-premise.

  • Avaya enables Hybrid Cloud Manager integration for your Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) account.

  • Ensure to note the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway autogenerated system ID and public key from Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway administrator.

  • Ensure to log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Element Inventory.
  2. On the Elements page, click New > Voice > Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.

    You can view the terms and conditions of Avaya Cloud solutions and Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.

  3. Read through the terms and conditions and accept the same.

    To view the name of the administrator who accepted the terms and conditions of the first Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway element, you can do an audit trail search for the element categories. For more information, see Audit Trail.

  4. In the Name field, type a name for the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway element.
  5. In the Description field, type a description for the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway element.
  6. In the System Id field, type the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway system ID.
  7. In the Public Key field, type the public key without spaces.
  8. In the Location section, select the country from the Country list and select the specific region from the Region list.

    By default, the Enable Media Latching check box is selected to enable media latching for the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway hostname.

  9. In the List of SIP Server Addresses field, enter Session Manager Asset Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) or public FQDN of Avaya Session Border Controller (Avaya SBC) with which Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway communicates.

    You can add a single or multiple SIP addresses such as Session Manager Asset FQDNs or Avaya SBC public FQDNs.

  10. Click Save.
