If an announcement port is available when a call arrives, the system connects the call to the announcement starting from the beginning.

If an announcement port is unavailable and the announcement is administered withnoas the queue option, the call does not enter the queue for the announcement and the caller hears busy or other feedback, depending upon how the announcement was accessed.

If an announcement port is unavailable and the announcement is administered withyesas the queue option, the call enters the announcement queue. When a port becomes available, the switch connects the calls waiting in the queue, up to the system limit, to the beginning of the announcement.
