Releasing endpoints

About this task

Important:

This maintenance operation is service affecting.

On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Communication Manager.
In the navigation pane, click Endpoints > Manage Endpoints.
Select one or more Communication Manager instance from the Communication Manager list.
Click Show List.
In the Endpoint List section, select one or more endpoint, and click Maintenance > Release Endpoint.

System Manager displays the Release Endpoint Confirmation page.
Click Now to release the endpoints immediately or do one of the following:
- Click Schedule to perform the release at a specified time.
- Click Cancel to cancel the release.
System Manager displays the result of the release operation on the Release Endpoint Report page.
