System Manager uses Trust Management to provision and manage certificates of various applications, servers, and devices for secure, interelement communication. Trust Management provides Identity (Server) and Trusted (Root/CA) certificates that applications can use to establish mutually authenticated Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions.
System Manager validates any file you upload during certificate management and accepts only certain file types, such as text and XML. System Manager filters uploaded files based on the file extension and mime types or bytes in the file.
System Manager uses a third-party open-source application, Enterprise Java Beans Certificate Authority (EJBCA), as a Certificate Authority for certificate management.
