Description

Disk Space Utilization

The disk space utilization of the System Manager system in percentage (%).

Displays the data of the following directories:

  • optPartition containing System Manager application-specific data.

  • varPartition containing OS-specific data and some application-specific data for System Manager.

  • emdataPartition containing System Manager application-specific data. Primarily contains Breeze (svars) and CS1k-specific data.

  • tmpStandard RHEL tmp folder partition.

  • perfdataSession Manager performance data collection folder.

  • swlibraryPartition for storing System Manager application-specific data.

  • homePartition for the home folder for System Manager OS users.

  • pgsqlPartition for the System Manager database.

  • devOS-specific partition.

  • logPartition for the System Manager application and OS logs.

  • auditPartition for the System Manager audit logs.

The System Manager web console displays the following disk space utilization status:

To manage the tmp and home partitions, remove the files you created.

Note:

Do not perform any action to the /home/ucmdeploy/ directory and its files.

For swlibrary, check /swlibrary/HeapDump/. From swlibrary, you can remove the following:

  • Service pack, Security Service pack, and Feature pack binaries.

  • /swlibrary/LogsBackup_*.tar.gz file.

  • Backup file.

    Ensure to copy the backup file to another location before you remove it.

Notifications

The current notification from the application.

From Release 8.1.3.1, the Notifications widget on the System Manager dashboard displays the user login information message and emergency Dial Pattern routes notification message for Emergency Location Management Solution.

From Release 10.1.0.1, the Notifications widget displays the demo certificate usage message if Session Manager or WebLM has demo certificates installed.

The messages in the Notifications widget are short. To view the complete details of each message, hover the cursor over the message.

From System Manager Release 8.1.3.1 and later, you cannot close the Notifications widget. If you close the Notifications widget during your last login on System Manager Release 8.1.3 or earlier, then after upgrading to System Manager Release 8.1.3.1 or later, System Manager displays the default dashboard layout.

If you set Minimum TLS Version to TLSv1.0 or TLSv1.1 on the Services > Security > Configuration > Security Configuration page, System Manager displays the following message in the Notifications widget:

Warning! TLS <1.0/1.1> is enabled. For increased security, it is recommended that the Minimum TLS Version be set to TLS 1.2 or higher if these protocol levels can be supported in your configuration.

Shortcuts

The shortcut of the menu options. You can drag and drop your favorite menu options in the Shortcuts section.

Alarms

The alarms data of the application. You can filter the alarms by Severity, Age (in days), and Element Type.

The following are the alarm types available based on Severity:

  • : Displays the number of critical alarms

  • : Displays the number of major alarms

  • : Displays the number of uncategorized alarms

  • : Displays the number of minor alarms

  • : Displays the number of warning alarms

The alarms are categorized under the following day ranges when you filter the alarms based on Age (in days):

  • 0 to 30 days

  • 30 to 60 days

  • 60 to 90 days

  • 90 to 120 days

The dashboard also displays the source IP Address and description of the alarms.

Information

The Information section displays the application name, number of application instances, synchronization status of the application, and current usage. Current usage lists the number of users and simultaneous administrative logins.

Application State

The current status of the application and its major feature configurations, such as License Status, Deployment Type, Multi-Tenancy, OOBM State, and Hardening Mode.
