Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity supports AE Services high availability. AE Services server operates within the Routing Core Server. Each AE Services server has a static IP address.
In the local HA deployment, Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity provides one active/alternate AE Services server pair. The active AE Services server operates within the active Routing Core Server and has a VIP address assigned to its interface.
In the geo-redundant HA deployment, Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity provides two active/alternate AE Services server pairs. AE Services servers in an active/alternate pair operate in different data centers. Each active AE Services server has a VIP address shared across the extended Layer 2 network.
