CVLAN service configuration

Last Updated : Dec 29, 2021 |

You can set up a non-proprietary CVLAN link that supports up to 60 clients or a proprietary CVLAN link that supports only one client for internal applications.

The following are the high-level steps of configuring the CVLAN service:

  1. Administer the CTI link on the Configuration Server web portal.

To set up a non-proprietary link, configure the ASAI-IP option. To set up a proprietary link, configure the ADJ-IP option. For more information about CTI link configuration, see the AE Services configuration section in Administering Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.

  2. Configure the CVLAN link on the AE Services management console.

  3. Configure the CVLAN client on the AE Services management console.

Use separate links for applications to avoid conflicts and control the load. Only one application at a time can register as a heartbeat server or a routing server. For more information about heartbeat messages and route requests, see the Application Enablement Services CVLAN Programmer's Reference.
