Configuring TCP and TLS settings

Last Updated : Jan 17, 2023 |

About this task

You can set the TCP retransmission count and select TLS protocol version.

The changes that you make to the TCP and TLS settings apply to all TCP and TLS sockets on the AE Services server.

Warning:

TLS 1.0 and 1.1 is enabled. For increased security, Avaya recommends that you should set the minimum TLS version to TLS 1.2 or higher if these protocol levels are supported in your configuration.

Procedure

  1. On the AE Services management console, go to Networking > TCP/TLS Settings.
  2. On the TCP/TLS Settings page, under TLSv1 Protocol Configuration, select the required TLS protocol version.

The default TLS version is 1.2 and 1.3.

  3. On the TCP/TLS Settings page, select one of the following:
    • Standard Configuration (15): Unless the AE Services server is used by TSAPI routing applications.

    • TSAPI Routing Application Configuration (6): To reduce the time interval during which the server waits for a TCP acknowledgment before closing the socket.

  4. Click Apply changes.
  5. On the Apply changes to TCP/TLS Settings page, click Apply.
  6. Restart the web server and AE Services server for the changes to take effect.
