AE Services management

When you update the AE Services configuration, you must restart services, the AE Services server, and the web server for changes to take effect. For example, you must restart the AE Services server when configuring TCP and TLS settings, restoring default TLS protocol settings, updating or restoring default port properties, setting up AE Services connectivity parameters, and deleting a CA trusted certificate. You can start, stop, and restart the following services:

  • ASAI Link Manager

  • DMCC service

  • CVLAN service

  • Transport Layer service

  • TSAPI service

From the AE Services management console, you can also restart the AE Services server, the Linux operating system, and the web server. Restarting the AE Services server does not start or stop the web server.

You must start the stopped services after the AE Services server reboot.

Warning:

Starting, stopping, or restarting a service can cause connectivity loss and service interruption.
