You can use the default AE Services certificates in your lab environment if you have not installed your own certificates. The AE Services default self-signed certificate is valid for one year.

You must not use the default certificates in a production environment. Avaya recommends that you replace all default AE Services certificates with certificates issued by an in-house or a third-party CA.

The default server certificate serverCert.pem is located in the following directory:

/etc/opt/avaya/certs/private/serverCert.pem

By default, the AE Services client installation applications for DMCC, TSAPI, JTAPI, and CVLAN install the Avaya Product CA certificate on the client computer. For more information about managing certificates on clients, see the client documentation.
