Restarting the selected services

About this task

When you change the configuration of AE Services, you must restart the selected services for the changes to take effect.

If you restart the Transport Layer service, the ASAI Link Manager, TSAPI, CVLAN, and DMCC services restart automatically. Wait until the following clients reconnect: TSAPI, DMCC with Call Information services, DMCC with Call Control services and Snapshot services, CVLAN.

If you restart the ASAI Link Manager, the TSAPI, CVLAN, or DMCC services restart automatically. Wait until all of the service clients reconnect.

Procedure

  1. On AE Services management console, go to Maintenance > Service Controller.
  2. On the Service Controller page, select one or several services.

    The AE Services management console displays a confirmation page.

  3. On the Restart Service page, click Restart.

    AE Services restarts the selected services and the Service Controller page displays the Running status for the restarted services.
