The AE Services security database (SDB) provides the capability to control user access rights. The SDB stores information about Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) users and the devices they control. The DMCC and TSAPI services use this information for checking user permissions.

If you want an application to use the SDB, add the users of this application to the AE Services User Management database as CTI users, regardless of the user authentication method. For example, if you authenticate the DMCC users using the Active Directory Services, you must add these users to the AE Services User Management database as CTI users.
