Connecting to an Avaya WebLM server

About this task

Specify the IP address and port number of the Avaya WebLM server that AE Services uses for licensing.

You can optionally configure a secondary license server. AE Services uses the secondary WebLM server for licensing only if the primary WebLM server is not available.

Before you begin

Obtain the WebLM server IP address and port number.

Procedure

  1. On the Application Enablement Services management console, go to Licensing > WebLM Server Address.
  2. In WebLM IP Address, type the WebLM server IP address.
  3. Ensure that SSL is selected.
  4. In WebLM Port, type the WebLM server port number.
  5. Optional To configure a secondary WebLM, do the following:
    1. In Secondary WebLM IP Address, type the secondary WebLM server IP address.
    2. Ensure that Secondary SSL is enabled.
    3. In Secondary WebLM Port, type the secondary WebLM server port number.
  6. Optional Select Enable Certificate Hostname Validation.
  7. To save the changes, click Apply Changes.
  8. Optional To restore the default values, click Restore Defaults.
