Adding ACD access permissions in the Web Client

About this task

Use this procedure to grant access to an ACD and assign permissions for it.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > User Permissions > ACD Access.

    CMS Supervisor displays the list of administered users and their ACD access permissions.

  2. Click Add ACD Access.
  3. In the User ID list, select the user who needs ACD access.
  4. In the ACD list, select the ACD to which you want to grant access.
  5. Select one or more of the following check boxes to assign permissions to the specified ACD:
    • Read: The user can view ACD information.

    • Write: The user can modify ACD information, such as splits/skills, trunk groups, vectors, and VDNs. To assign Write access, you must select both Read and Write.

    • Exceptions: The user receives ACD exception notifications when they occur.

  6. Click OK to save your changes.
