Last Updated : Aug 19, 2024 |

About this task

You must specify which VDNs users will have access to and then assign permissions. You can only assign VDNs for the current ACD.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > User Permissions > VDN Access.
  2. From the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to manage VDN access.

CMS Supervisor displays the existing VDN data and exception access permissions for the selected ACD.

  3. Click Add VDN Access.
  4. In the User ID list, search for and select the user.
  5. In the VDNs field, enter VDN names or IDs.

Use a semicolon to separate each entry.

  6. Click + to move the VDNs you want to assign from the Search Results area to the Selected VDN(s) area.
  7. Select one or more of the following check boxes to assign permissions for the specified VDNs:
    • Read: The user can view VDN data.

    • Write: The user can manage the specified VDNs. To assign Write access, you must select both Read and Write.

    • Exceptions: The user is notified when active VDN exceptions occur. For general information about VDN exceptions, see VDN exceptions.

  8. Click OK to save your changes.
