To manage vectors, the Call Vectoring feature must be enabled. Consider the following when working with vector permissions:
Ensure that the users you want to manage have been added on the User Data page.
Users do not have vector access by default. You must define which vectors each user can access and then assign Read, Write, and Exceptions permissions as required.
Before assigning vector permissions, ensure that the user has permissions for the ACD on which the vector resides. before vector permissions can be assigned. If you assign vector permissions for a user ID that does not have the appropriate ACD permissions, an error is displayed.
A user ID cannot be assigned the Write permission without also having the Read permission.
When the permissions definition for a user is added or modified, the permission changes do not take effect until the user logs out and logs in again.
The wildcard characters *
and ?
are not supported.
Tenant users can only be given permissions to vectors that are available for their tenants. A tenant user cannot be assigned a higher permission level than the tenant. For example, if the tenant does not have Write access for vectors, then its tenant users cannot be given Write access.
