Modifying a login ID name in the Web Client

About this task

The login ID is read only and cannot be changed. You can change the associated name and its description.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Dictionary > Login IDs.
  2. In the Current ACD list, select the active ACD for which you want to administer login IDs.

    CMS Supervisor displays the login IDs administered for the selected ACD.

  3. Click Modify next to the item you want to modify.

    The Modify Item window is displayed.

  4. In the Agent Name field, revise the name associated with the login ID.
  5. Optional Revise the information in the Description field.

    You can enter up to 50 characters. This field cannot contain the pipe (|) symbol, a semicolon, or double quotes.

  6. Click OK to save your changes.
