Error and warning messages

This section lists possible error messages which may be encountered when running scripts and describes their associated causes and possible solutions.

This script will not run unless a CMS login ID and password have been specified.

The CMS login ID and password have not been set on the Scripting tab of the Controller Options window.

Specify a login ID and password on the User Information window.

Automatic scripts are set to run with the permissions of another user of the PC.

The User Information window designates the other user as the owner of automatic scripts.

You can change the permissions via the login information on the Scripting tab of the Controller Options window. The change will apply to subsequent automatic scripts that are run on the PC.

(Action) Supervisor displays the Save as Script: Add or Replacewindow.

The file already exists.

Select one of the following actions at the bottom of the window:

  • Add (default) - Adds the new script to the end of the existing script

  • Replace - Deletes the existing script and create a new script file

  • Cancel - Closes the Add or Replace window and returns to the Save as Script twindow

  • Help - Displays the help topic for the current window.
